A Relay Radio DJ Takeover puts you behind the ideas for the show. You pick the music, optionally add your own voice clips, and request the Relay Radio DJ you would like to host it. We handle the on-air side and turn your choices into a real Relay Radio show.
Your date and DJ are requests. Relay Radio will make its best effort to use your requested Friday or Saturday and preferred DJ, but availability can require a different DJ or date. Nothing is booked until the station confirms it.
Simple from start to finish
How your Takeover works
You do not need to know anything technical. Give us the pieces below and the Relay Radio DJ team takes it from there.
1. Pick your musicSend us 15–30 songs for roughly a 1–2 hour show. No song lengths or timing math required.
2. Request a night & DJChoose an available Friday or Saturday and the Relay Radio DJ you would prefer to host.
3. Add your voice (optional)Want to be part of the show? Add a greeting, dedication, story, birthday message or closing — or skip voice clips completely.
4. We build the showYour request goes to our DJ team. A DJ reviews it, claims it and the station confirms the final date and host.

Use the name or chat nickname you want the DJ to recognize.
We'll use this only for your Takeover request and scheduling updates.
Pick the night and your preferred DJ
Only upcoming Fridays and Saturdays are shown. These are requests until Relay Radio confirms the show.
We'll make our best effort, but another DJ may host if needed.
Build your playlist
Add 15–30 songs. That's our easy 1–2 hour target — no song lengths or math required.

Your DJ may trim or add a few tracks so the finished show fits the available time. You can mark up to 3 songs as Must Play.
Use Artist - Song. We'll add as many as fit up to 30.
Add your voice to the show OPTIONAL
You do not have to record anything. If you'd like to be part of your show, add a greeting, story behind a song, dedication, birthday message, or closing. Each clip can be up to 2 minutes. Otherwise, just continue to Review and your DJ will handle the talking.
Voice clips are kept private for the Relay Radio DJ team. Please submit your voice only — do not upload songs or copyrighted music.
